The colorful children’s wing is home to children often abandoned to St. Joseph’s or whose families cannot manage their medical conditions. Conditions being treated include paralysis, rheumatoid arthritis, cerebral palsy, and rickets. Some have congenital deformities, or post-polio or meningitis disabilities, or are mentally compromised. The wing includes classrooms for those who cannot attend regular schools.
Our aim is to strengthen the children enough to return to their families if possible, meanwhile providing an education in the security and family atmosphere of our community.
